I’ve been working over the past year on a solo show that follows the journey of my grandmother- who had a national career as a jazz singer- and my own journey pursuing a singing career. It’s a story about two women living in different eras making different choices and compromises about career and family.
The show includes music from Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Jason Robert Brown and Mozart!
So far I’ve performed excerpts on Zoom- live from my living room- and in person at The Marsh Theatre. I hope to perform the full-length show in the spring of 2021. Stay tuned!
